Do you have Lead in your water?
Lead can enter your water supply through lead in the services lines, lead pipes, plumbing with lead solder, brass or chrome-plated brass faucets, and fixtures.
Elevated levels of lead in your drinking water can cause:
- Increased risk of high blood pressure and kidney damage
- Damage to nervous system
- Learning disabilities
- Shorter stature
- Impaired hearing
- Impaired formation and function of blood cells.
- Premature birth
Lead can bio-accumulate in the body over time.

Do you have Nitrates or Nitrites in your water?
Animal wastes and fertilizers decompose and increase concentrations of nitrates and nitrites in the environment that can enter a well through ground water. Nitrates and Nitrites can decrease the ability of the blood to carry oxygen to tissues causing serious health issues, especially in young infants.

Do you have elevated Chlorides?
High levels of chlorides can lead to Cushing Syndrome or kidney disease. It can also lead to plant damage, give your water an unpleasant (salty) taste. Over extended periods of time exposure to chlorides can damage plumbing, appliances and water heaters.
